Say you float the idea on a Saturday morning: homemade Oreos, from scratch, how does that sound? First, the people who live in your house might say: oh, no, please, don’t. Second, the people who live in your house (or person, in my case) will say: OK, maybe.
Then the person who lives in your house will say, on a lazy Sunday night: what’s for dessert? And then you will make them, and the house will smell like chocolate, and the process will feel simple and satisfying. And you will have this:
And then the person who lives in your house may or may not consume two dozen homemade oreos over the course of two days and forbid you to ever make them again.
You may have words for this behavior, even names. They may or may not be very nice. But the person who lives in your house may read your blog, so you’ll be obliged to keep the words to yourself.
